Staff 2025
Shiktehawk carefully and prayerfully selects the most enthusiastic teens and young adults to serve at Camp. We want our staff to have a desire to make camp just as much fun as they had growing up going as campers! We have a high standard of who we hire. Applicants go through interviews, reference checks, and extensive training before the summer starts. Our staff forms a close-knit community with a common goal: share God’s love in word and deed to people of all ages that come to Shiktehawk. Apply by clicking the link below! In order to be considered for our Summer 2025 team, please submit your application by January 31st, 2025. If you are chosen to advance to the next round, you will receive an email or phone call to schedule an interview. If you were a volunteer last year, or if you have never been on our staff team, please fill out a 'first time staff application.' If you were a staff member last summer or in a previous year, please fill out a 'returning/experienced staff application.' If you would like to apply for leadership staff, please fill out a 'leadership team' application - please keep in mind that applications for our leadership team are due by December 31, 2024. This is new for this year, and gives us the chance to bring our Leadership Team for the Summer of 2025 into the hiring process for the rest of our staff team!

Technology Policy
In an effort to balance the work / life relationship at camp, and to hold to the values we hold that camp is a place where people can experience a deeper connection with God and others we have decided to adopt a new cell phone and electronic device policy. In the past, we find that those who are willing to put their electronics aside have a better experience and we hope that this is something that can encourage you to take a break from the media that is a constant in our world and experience deep connection with others, with God and with nature.
